Queen Elizabeth II 💙 ♥️ 🤍

 What a loss for the world. 

As a WOMAN, 2022 has hit me hard. 

Roe, an abundantly PROTECTIVE right for women was overturned and derailed by a fascist Republican led supreme court. 

The Queen Is Dead. Long Live The King. 

- but wait. She was my queen too. She was The Worlds Queen. She reigned in 6 Realms. She was the most recognized woman in the world. She was Britains backbone for 70 years. She was, and will forever be the Queen of Hearts. Her people loved her. We loved her, and we’re americans. Our history tells us to hate her, to rebel against her rule.. but how could you hate such a strong woman? A daughter made queen at 10. A sister, to her baby sister. A wife to Phillip for over 70 years. A Mother. Her sons, Prince Phillip and now King Charles.. and a lesser known daughter.. Princess Anne. 

The Brits lost their leader. A woman their population grew up with. A woman most have known all their lives- the only leader they’ve ever known. And it’s an unimaginable loss to the world. We knew something was gonna happen. Phillip died last year, and i’ve never seen a woman look so alone, as i did watching his funeral procession. In the midst of Covid she stood alone in the Cathedral with Phillip, her King, at rest in front of her. The saddest moment i’ve ever witnessed. Since his death, she’s gone downhill little by little.. so we all knew. It doesn’t make it easier. Bittersweet i’d say. 

Rest easy Elizabeth. Queen of the Realms. Queen of Hearts. Always THE QUEEN.
