Kelis became relevant again when Bey sampled “Milkshake” on Renaissance- and when Bey snatched that off her album three days ago, Kelis went back to the ghetto of irrelevance again. As she should. MOST artist are going to recognize the clout coming with Bey using their samples, not Kelis. She had to run her mouth on IG - and although Bey didn’t need her specific permission bc Kelis doesn’t own rights to the song (Neptunes do) Bey still removed it once Kelis complained. And so, irrelevant again.
